ADHD friendly goal setting
As we approach 2024, it's a great time to set some goals for the future. Setting goals in your business is like having a roadmap. It gives you a clear direction and purpose.
For someone like me, working with ADHD and executive function challenges, goals act as a guide for tasks and plans. They break down the overwhelming stuff into manageable steps, making it easier to stay on track. Plus, achieving those goals brings a sense of accomplishment and boosts motivation. It's a practical way to turn dreams into reality.
In this guide, I’ll be sharing straightforward tips on setting goals that work for neurodiverse minds. We’ll also run through SMART goals and how the framework helps neurodiverse business owners to set focused and structured objectives.

Overcoming Overwhelm and Taking Action with ADHD
As a business coach with ADHD, I understand the struggle of having numerous ideas but feeling overwhelmed when it comes to putting them into action. It's like having a brainstorming frenzy, only to get stuck in a cycle of procrastination. This makes any type of planning extremely hard.
Reflecting on your year in business and why it’s so important
It’s really important to take the time to reflect on your year in business, it can help give you clarity and direction to plan for the future.
I know taking the time to reflect can seem like an effort (unless you love journalling then you’re already a pro!) but it can be really eye-opening! Take some time to recognise all the hard work you’ve put in, remember those highs that you had but also review whether something needs to change. It’s also good to check in on how you’re feeling right now, a lot can change in a year and it can guide how you move forward.
Business Strategy: Don’t be afraid, here’s what you need to know!
Business strategy is simply a plan, ok, a long-term plan. It helps a business get from A to B, it does this by reviewing a business’s current position (point A), figuring out where it wants to be (point B) and then making a plan on how to get there. I will be laying out why you don’t need to be afraid of ‘business strategy’, why your business needs one and how helpful it can be, and finally how you can start to make steps towards creating a strategy.
